We are excited to announce that we have been selected as the newest Conservation Partner of the Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN).
WCN protects endangered species and preserves their natural habitats by supporting entrepreneurial conservationists around the world. Through WCN, Ewaso Lions will have access to a community of wildlife supporters, as well as expert support in areas such as strategic planning, accounting and fundraising. Ewaso Lions will also be a featured presenter at WCN’s Wildlife Conservation Expo in San Francisco every October, and will be connected to individuals and organisations that want to invest in entrepreneurial conservation. “Ewaso Lions is a fabulous conservation organisation that is making a real impact for local communities and lions in northern Kenya,” says Charles Knowles, WCN’s Executive Director. “We’re proud to have worked with Shivani since her days with Save the Elephants, through providing her with a WCN scholarship for her graduate studies, the sponsoring of her for the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders program, and now as a WCN Partner. We’re committed to working closely with Ewaso Lions to help amplify the reach and impact of their work to conserve lions in partnership with local communities.”
WCN has put together this incredible network of truly dedicated people championing for conservation of species all over the world. We are thrilled and honoured to receive WCN’s support and to be part of this amazing group of conservationists. If you don’t know about WCN, you should definitely check them out.
Our supporters can now make tax-deductible donations to us through WCN, which guarantees that 100% of all donations designated for Ewaso Lions will come straight to us.
